- Use multiple independent sources and prioritize primary documents.
- Attribute material claims in plain language and link to the exact source when available.
- Separate verified facts, reported claims, analysis, opinion and forecasts.
- Disclose material uncertainty, conflicts and missing evidence.
- Require a human editorial review before publication.
Original value
A story must add substantial value through comparison, chronology, evidence classification, context and correction tracking. A source-to-AI-to-publish workflow is prohibited.
Independence and advertising
Advertising does not determine verification labels, placement in the source map or editorial conclusions. Editorial approval and advertising eligibility are separate decisions.
